Summary

A 12V Kettle (~120W) that was overvolted to 17V (~225W) using power supplied from the 42V grid with a programmable step-down converter. This allowed the otherwise pretty useless kettle (water warmer) to actually boil 0.5L of water before the heat death of the universe.
