Summary
12v cigarette plug. Note that the spring has melted into the case. This was only carrying 30v @5A, and everything else about the plug was unharmed - wires were ok, and the 5A fuse did not blow.
Different plugs have different ratings. Most cheap ones are only rated to 8A @ 12V.
You can find better-rated plugs at either 20-25A max (and have copper springs, which might be the reason why they can cope with more power). Once you get to this level of amp requirement, I would recommend switching to a better connector type!
